The grand event of the actors of ‘80s reunion took place in Hyderabad and Telugu Superstar Chiranjeevi hosted it. One of the most notable actors of the period between ‘80s and ‘90s, Pratap Pothen has voiced his disappointment on not getting an invite to attend the function. He has acted in more than 100 films in all south Indian languages and later turned a director.
He posted on his FB, “I am a Persona Non Grata with the 80’s stars mayybe i am a bad actor and director ...so they didnt invite me to their get together i am sad ( what can one say ....only that my career in films ment nothing ....well some may like you some hate you ...but life goes on.”
Everyone including Chranjeevi, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Sumalatha, Nagarjuna and Mohanlal among others had relived the good old days and posed for selfies. Though none of them reacted to Prathap’s FB post, netizens and his fans have consoled him with encouraging posts. Here are a few of them.
Sruthi Naidu. M wrote, “You are an awesome actor. We r not in this world to be loved by all. Few love us, few hate us, few don’t care either. We r not stuck anywhere bcuz of this. We must let the show go on. Our worth is only defined by us alone in this world.”
