Anushka Shetty can now carry a whole film by herself irrespective of whether the film has a male lead or not. After her commendable performance in Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, the actress went on to sign another women-centric Telugu-Tamil bilingual film called Bhagmati.
As the shooting of the film is coming to a close, we hear that the actress is already in talks for a film in Kollywood, which will be directed by Gautham Menon. According to sources, the film is also said to be another female-centric movie and will be made as a bilingual.
This is not the first time Gautham and Anushka are joining hands. The have already worked together in the film Yennai Arindhaal, starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha in the lead roles.
Earlier, a multi-starrer project was announced by Gautham and Anushka was said to be part of it. It is not clear though, whether the new speculations are about the same, or a whole new film altogether.
Meanwhile, the first-look poster of Bhagmati is set to be released on November 7 — the birthday of Anushka Shetty. Watch this space for more news!
