Pujita and Aari
Aari, who chooses his films diligently, has signed a mythological period drama, which is directed by Kaalingan, who has assisted in films like Endrendrum Punnagai and Richie. Tollywood actress Pujita Ponnada debuts as his pair. Aari says he has shed close to 10 kg for his role, which involves lot of action sequences.
Says producer Manjunathan, "When Kaalingan approached us with this script, which had so much of detailing, we decided to produce the movie. The reason being it had all the potential and elements of a Hollywood period drama and I was impressed. We don't have such grandeur flicks in Tamil cinema and we want to fill the gap. It is made as a pan Indian movie."
