HYDERABAD: Historical epic action drama Ponniyin Selvan was a major hit this year. Picturised by ace director Mani Ratnam, the first part of the film evoked a good response, grossing more than Rs 500 crore.
The PS team announced an important update about the sequel. The second part, Ponniyin Selvan-2, would be released on April 28 next year.
