Erode Sounder back with a school subject
Award winning scriptwriter Erode Sounder, who has also directed few films, is back to wielding the megaphone after a hiatus with a school subject titled Ayya Ullen Ayya. Sounder is known for his writing prowess in blockbuster films like Cheran Pandian, Naattamai, Parambarai, Samuthiram and had assisted ace KS Ravikumar before turning independent.
Since AUA deals with school romance, Sounder introduces his grandson Kabilesh, a 10th grade student as the lead hero. He is also bringing his nephew Bala Sabareeswaran on board as the antagonist. Child artiste turned actress Prarthana from Mollywood debuts as the heroine.
“A student’s future lies in the crucial period between 10th and 12th grade. One wrong step will put their life upside down. There’s a message to parents as well as students in the movie,” says Sounder.
