Celebs endorse Sadhguru’s Cauvery initiative
As part of his awareness rally for the agroforestry initiative ‘Cauvery Calling’, Jaggi Vasudev of Isha Foundation visited the famous thespian Sivaji Ganesan's house ‘Annai Illam’ in the city and addressed a celeb gathering at an event organised by the late actor’s sons — actor Prabhu and producer Ramkumar. The initiative aims to enable farmers to plant 242 crore saplings in the Cauvery basin in an attempt to induce more rainfall and increase the water levels in the river.
Many celebs like Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Revathi, Manobala, Varalaxmi, composer Ganesh, Santhana Bharathy and others from various walks of life had turned out on the occasion and endorsed their support for the cause.
Trisha had met Jaggi Vasudev a day earlier when he arrived in the city at the foundation office and posted a picture with him on her social media handle, writing, “The most fun tete a tete with #Sadhguru Divinity in its finest form. Bucket listing.... Thank you @isha.foundation @sadhguru for the invite.”
Actor Santhanam also posted a video hailing the ‘Save Cauvery’ efforts of Sadhguru supported the cause and urged people to join the initiative.
