Yuvan Shankar’s romantic rendition for Shirish Saravanan goes viral
Shirish Saravanan’s long pending film Pistha, where he dons a rural character, is soon to hit the marquee. And going viral is the romantic song ‘Azhagiya Rasathi,’ rendered by Yuvan Shankar Raja after a 10-year gap for composer Dharan. The song was unveiled today (Aug 31) on the occasion of Yuvan’s birthday by party boys Venkat Prabhu and Premgi. Ace Yugabharathy’s youthful lyrics are said to be yet another plus.
Speaking to DC, Shirish says, “It’s a fun filled family entertainer and I have tried comedy for the first time. A host of comedians like veteran Senthil, Yogi Babu and Satish are part of the film and we all had rollicking time during the shoot. This is Dharan’s milestone 25 flick and I am excited that his lovely tune in Yuvan’s voice has added the right flavour and given the number the much needed hype.”
