Tamil actor Ajith Kumar stopped by Dubai yesterday, before heading to Azerbaijan to shoot his upcoming film. During his visit, he took the opportunity to visit the FIA-licensed Dubai Autodrome track to test drive race cars and enjoyed racing Fans shared photos and videos of the experience on the X (formerly known as no Twitter), and generated a lot of interest online.
Ajith's love for running
Ajit Kumar, known for his passion for running, did not participate in any official event during his tour. But he hit the track with other runners for a few carefree laps, showing off his running skills.
In one of the videos, Ajith is seen all smiles and fully dressed as he jogs and runs around the track. Other videos show him in race cars, testing it on the track. Racing fans were happy to see the racing-loving actor back in action after so many years.
Support from Family
Ajith said that his wife Shalini, a former actor, had been an immense support for him in terms of his participation in car racing. He recollected, “I participated in the MRF race and my wife had come. She said, I saw you smile after such a long time and you looked very happy. So when I said I would like to race she just told me to go ahead and do it. She always encouraged me to be true to my heart. It is my wife’s effort that has made me venture into this world of racing without which I wouldn’t have taken up this sport at all. My parents are with me too as they understand what racing means to me. If not now then never.”
