Music Maestro Ilayaraja collaborates with Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani, who has penned the lyrics for one of the songs in the upcoming film Shastipurthi. The movie stars veteran actors Rajendra Prasad and Archana in lead roles.
“This is an exciting combination, and their song ‘Edo Ye Janmalodo’ will be unveiled soon,” says producer Rupesh Chowdary. “Keeravani Garu graciously took time out to write the lyrics for the fifth song. He even stayed back in Chennai to assist with the lyrics. This track is special as it brings together two legends,” he adds.
Shastipurthi is described as a family drama with relevant and topical themes. “It was a thoroughly rewarding experience working with veterans like Rajendra Prasad and Archana Garu. Production is complete, and we will announce the release date soon,” Chowdary states.
M.M. Keeravani, renowned for composing music for blockbusters like Baahubali and RRR, showcases a new talent by writing lyrics for this film. Fans are eager to see how this collaboration unfolds.
