Odisha is currently witnessing a wave of excitement as ace director SS Rajamouli wrapped up a crucial shooting schedule for his upcoming film. However, the production team was caught off guard when photos from the shoot were leaked online, creating a buzz among fans.
Following the shoot, Rajamouli took a trekking trip to Deomali Mountain, where he was captivated by the breathtaking landscape but also deeply disturbed by the unhygienic conditions. Determined to make a difference, he and superstar Mahesh Babu took an inspiring step—they launched a plantation drive to promote environmental awareness.
Now, pictures of their initiative are going viral on social media. Mahesh Babu, dressed in a white shirt and blue denim, is seen interacting with locals, while SS Rajamouli is captured planting saplings. Their efforts aim to highlight the importance of afforestation and environmental conservation.
During the event, Odisha’s Pottangi constituency MLA, Ramachandra Kadam, visited the site and met the duo. As a token of appreciation, he presented them with handmade millet products from the region.
