Meenakshi Chaudhary has learnt Telugu too
Young actress Meenakshi Chaudhary is doing good movies back-to-back in Telugu. ‘She plays an underprivileged girl in ‘Matka’ and has breathed life into the character. She would be seen in half sarees with two plaits hair and then her character slowly transforms,’ says director Karuna Kumar who first auditioned Meenakshi a few years ago. “I auditioned her for a role in my earlier film ‘Sridevi Soda Centre’ but I couldn’t sign her since she was thin-looking. While I was looking for a bubbly girl,” he informs
She made her debut with ‘Ichata Vahanalu Niluparadhu’ and did films like ‘Khiladi’, the actor tasted success with ‘HIT 2’. "She has truly evolved as an actress and is a director’s actor,” adds Karuna Kumar. “Unlike a few actresses, she is very professional and does homework well. She can express a gamut of emotions with ease,” he adds
Coming back to ‘Matka’, he adds, "She falls in love with hero Varun Tej in this period drama but it will not be the usual boy chased girl story. Both begin to respect each other for their respective individualities over just good looks. Meeankshi's role has enough significance and meat and she matches the acting strides with Varun," he points out.
He claims that she learned Telugu language and has groomed herself well for a longer stint in Tollywood.
