Music director Rahul Raj is going back to school. Surprised? He will be joining Berklee College of Music, Valencia Campus, Spain, to pursue his dreams with a Masters in Film Scoring. He has been busy with the process of admission, visa, etc. for the past one year. And yesterday he wrote, “Yes I am Valencia bound (sic),” on his Facebook profile.
Rahul has composed music for hit films like Chotta Mumbai, Ritu, Bachelor Party, Ezra etc. He affirms the process was tremendously tedious as he had to manage this while composing music for many movies. He won’t be composing music for Malayalam movies for a year and hopes to come back with much more music and different perspectives. He’s excitedly looking forward to a great year with lots of music, studying, meeting some great people and life in the wonderful seaside city. He thanked his wife Miriam, sister Rehana Raj and everyone who stood by him. He will also be taking his family with him.
