Sound of Silence to be screened at Eurasia International Film Festival
Three-time National Award-winning director Dr. Biju’s Sound Of Silence will be the opening film at the Eurasia International Film Festival, Kazakhstan, that kickstarts on July 22. The movie that unfurls the tale of a neglected mute boy in the Himalayas who lost his mother at birth. When his father goes behind bars, the boy faces a lonely life and joins a Buddhist monastery.
The cast includes Master Govardhan and Uday Chandra. The camera and music are handled by M. J. Radhakrishnan and Issac Thomas Kottukappalli, respectively. The movie produced by A.K. Pillai under the banner Maya Movies will be narrated in three languages – Pahari, Tibetan and Hindi. This is the eighth film of Dr. Biju, who has earlier directed Perariyathavar, Akashathinte Niram, Veettilekkulla Vazhi and Saira among others.
