The Great Father from January 27

It was earlier announced that megastar Mammootty’s upcoming film My Great Father, which was slated as Christhmas release, has been postponed to January. Now it is confirmed that the film will be released on January 27. When quizzed about that, Shaji Nateshan, who bank rolled the film along with Prithviraj, Arya and Santhosh Sivan for August Cinemas, says “Yes, as of now we are planning to arrange the release on January 27. It was after the shoot got delayed we postponed the release date at first. We expect the post production to be completed by the second week of next month.” Tamil actors Arya, Sham and Sneha also appear in pivotal roles in the film along with Mammootty.
