Wait and see, the best is yet to be
Srinda Arhaan was just getting ready to go out to have some fun in Kochi. But she agrees to stay back a bit more and finish this interview. Even though her roles have a bit of adorable naughtiness, in real it is her chuckles that punctuate her conversation that keep you hooked. A known face for Malayalis, he upcoming movie release is Munthirivallikal Thalirkumbol. “In this movie, I act as the pair of Anoop Menon. It is a very lovable role, as I play a typical Malayali housewife.” Another upcoming release is Nivin Pauly starrer Njandukalude Naatil Idavela.
“I am acting as Nivin’s twin sister. Ahaana Krishnan is our twin sister in the movie and I am paired with Shyju Wilson.” She laughs about the latest on-screen relationship with Nivin. “It is true that I have always had all kinds of pairing with him, from love interest to sibling to now twin sister.”
Srinda says she has a couple of good projects lined up for the year. “It is too early to talk about and I will be disclosing them by February. The year 2016 has been good in terms of my career and I am sure that I am growing within the industry.”
On being asked to choose the most challenging character role she had portrayed during last year, she says, “It was definitely my role in Adoor Gopalakrishnan’s movie Pinneyum. I had to unlearn whatever I learned till then and enter a new level of acting. In fact it helped me a lot in the movies that I acted in later on.”
Srinda says travelling is her other passion, besides movies. “It helps me relax a lot. I recently travelled to Sri Lanka and it was a great experience,” says Srinda. Currently, she is finishing the shoot for the Fahad Fazil movie, Role Model.
