100 Degree Celsius director's next
After the women-centric thriller 100 Degree Celsius, Rakesh Gopan puts on the director’s hat again for a spoof. Titled Aiswarya vilasam Gunda Sangham, the movie is set to go on floors on December 20. To be shot mainly on the locations in the city areas of Thiruvanan thapuram for 45 days, the film will have sequences in the Philippines thereafter. “The movie is about how four people, upon getting impressed by an underworld tale in a movie, venture into the dark world and land themselves in trouble. It’d be an out-and-out entertainer laced with humour. There are four male title characters — all fresh faces. Female leads will be three,” says Rakesh.
Negotiations are on to rope in actors Suraj Venjaramood, K.B. Ganesh Kumar and Riyas Khan in the cast. The film is produced by Aravind Kurup under the banner of Grey Flame Motion Pictures. Sathyan Sooryan cranks the camera. Music is by Arun Raj. The director himself handles story, screenplay and dialogues. 100 Degree Celsius is now undergoing a remake in Tamil and Telugu.
