Jeethu Joseph, who wielded the megaphone for hit films such as Drishyam and Memories, is one of the most discussed names in the Malayalam film industry for the past three years. In fact, Drishyam is the movie which made him popular across India as the film was remade in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Hindi.
The latest news is that yet another screenwriter is emerging from Jeethu’s family and it is none other than his spouse Linta Jeethu. Confirming the news, Jeethu says, “Yes, she has been working on a screenplay for sometime. It is almost complete. But I don’t know when that film would reach the shooting floor.”
Jeethu indicates that he would bankroll the film and apart from wearing the director’s cap. “When this story was narrated to some producers, they suggested to rework on the climax portion. But I liked that climax and asked Linta keep it just like that. As of now, I am planning to fund her film. And she has agreed to me wearing the director's hat,” he quips.
Linta was the costume designer in Jeethu’s directorial ventures since 2012 from Dileep-starrer My Boss. Oozham, for which she designed costumes, is still running in the screens.
