Amal Neerad, who started his career as a filmmaker with Mammootty-starrer Big B, is now all set to wield the megaphone for a Dulquer Salmaan film next. The film, which is being produced by the director himself under the banner Amal Neerad Productions, has started rolling today. It is for the second time Dulquer is acting in an Amal Neerad film. He was the hero in Amal’s segment — Kullante Bharya in the anthology film Anchu Sundarikal.
When quizzed about the title of the film, the director says, “We have not yet zeroed in on a title. As of now, we called it ‘Production Number 4’ as it is the fourth film of my production house. We have completed the casting process and now it is in production phase. The major part of the film will be shot at Pala, Bharananganam, Ramapuram and Kottayam."
Amal says it will be a love story, more than that a family film. “Even my Big B and Iyyobinte Pusthakam were family subjects told in an unconventional way. The target of this project also will be family and youth,” says the director about the film, which has Anu Emmanuel as the female lead.
