After the all-time hits KGF and Kantara, Homebale Films’ first Malayalam film ‘Dhoomam’, featuring Fahadh Faasil in the lead role, hit the big screens on June 23. Dhoomam is the first full-length Malayalam film directed by Pawan Kumar, who made notable films Lucia and U Turn. Suspense thriller ‘Dhoomam’, is produced by Vijay Kirganthur and the movie which has an ensemble cast is being brought to theaters by Prithviraj Productions and Magic Frames. Aparna Balamurali is the female lead with Achyutkumar, Vineeth, Roshan Mathew, Joy Mathew, Nandu and Bhanumathi appearing in the lead roles.
After the huge success of Maheshinte Prathikaram ‘Dhoomam’ is the film in which Fahadh and Aparna act together. The suspense thriller had a pan-India release in five languages - Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada Hindi.
The music for 'Dhoomam' is composed by Poornachandra Tejaswi. Popular cinematographer Preetha Jayaram is also part of the crew. Suresh Arumukhan has done the editing. Karthik Gowda and Vijay Subramaniam are the creative producers. Poornima Ramaswamy has designed the costumes.
