In the transition from RJing to VJing, the next predictable stop is acting. Having proven his presentation chops, RJ Mathukutty, who stole the hearts of radio and television audience alike, is making his big screen acting debut in the upcoming movie College Diary to be directed by Jeevan Das. “I got an invite to act in the movie and the story looked interesting. It brought me back to the days of NSS activities in college,” says Mathukutty.
He will be essaying the role of a college student in the movie, which has Sudev Nair in the lead. The plot revolves around a socially-relevant theme. The shooting is progressing in Kannur. This is Mathukutty’s second movie avatar; he was the co-screenwriter in You Too Brutus. Now, Mathukutty has two more major projects in the kitty.
