It was with the multi-starrer film Amar Akbar Anthony that mimicry artiste-cum-singer Nadhir Shah donned the cap of a director for the first time. Now the latest news is that Nadhir, who is basking in the success of his second directorial venture — Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan —is all set to call shots for a film with the Mega Star Mammootty in the lead.
According to a close source from the film industry, talks are on about such a project. “Benny P. Nayarambalam will be scripting the scenes for the yet-to-be-titled film, which is still under discussion,” says the source.
It is for the first time Nadhir Shah is teaming up for another writer other than Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Bipin George. They were behind Nadhir Shah’s previous two directorial ventures. Benny, on his part, has a Mohanlal film in his kitty, which will be directed by Lal Jose and produced by Antony Perumbavoor.
