Bharath dons the khaki for the first time in a film titled Kaalidas, which is directed by newcomer Sri Senthil. And Ann Sheetal, the upcoming heroine from Mollywood, will be seen opposite Bharath.
Debutant Sri Senthil of Naalaya Iyakkunar fame says, “Bharath is not the usual cop you see in every other film. There's a personal side to him in the suspense thriller, and the story, which happens in a span of three days, also deals with it. It looks like Bharath is equally thrilled to essay a cop for the first time in his career.
“I missed out twice earlier when I was approached for cop stories. When Senthil narrated this awesome script, I didn’t want to let it go,” he reveals. It is a crime thriller shot in and around the Chennai and Hyderabad.
Suresh Menon, who got busy in his second innings after playing a role with negative shades in Suriya’s Thaana Serndha Koottam. has a meaty role in Here in Kaalidas, which is kept under wraps. Aadhav Kannadasan is back after a hiatus in a key character. Vishal Chandrashekar scores the music. After the film strike was called off, Bharath started dubbing for the movie.
