Samskruthy Shenoy started her career as a model and went on to do some notable films like her debut Black Butterfly. Soon she did a couple of character roles and perhaps what remains most in the minds of the audience is her role of Dua in the Prithviraj-starrer Anarkali. The young actress also acted in a Tamil film Kaadu, after which she went on a long sabbatical. Samskruthy took to her Facebook wall to explain the reason for her absence from tinsel town. It seems congratulations are in order.
She posts, “I got engaged to my long-time friend Vishnu at Kochi.” For all those who are jumping the gun and predicting the loss of yet another talented actor to matrimony, she writes, “We haven’t yet decided about marriage plans as I am still pursuing my studies. I’ve always been grateful for the support and affection I’ve received from my friends here. Hopefully, the support and blessings would continue through the rest of my journey. Thanks again and a lot of love.”
