Megastar Mammootty is known for giving dates for debutant directors. His son — the young super star Duluqer Salmaan has also faced camera for around five newcomer directors, during the initial period of his career. Now after a small gap, the actor is all set to appear in front of the camera for a film, which has a new director. According to the sources from the film industry, DQ will be the hero in Salam Bukhari’s debut directorial venture.
“The film will be jointly written by newcomer Sivaprasad and Best Actor fame screenwriter Bipin Chandran. We cannot reveal more details about the story or Dulquer’s role. The film will start rolling only next year.” Salam was part of the direction department of Anjali Menon and Anwar Rasheed, before facing the camera in Anil Radhakrishna Menon’s directorial ventures.
