Mammootty and Mohanlal Reunite

Marking a new chapter in Malayalam cinema, the multi-starrer film directed by Mahesh Narayanan has officially commenced in Sri Lanka. The movie brings Mammootty and Mohanlal together in main roles after 25 years, alongside an impressive cast including Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Nayanthara. Mohanlal inaugurated the production activities by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Director of Single.ID and Blue Tiger Movies London Subash Manuel officially switched on the camera,while C.R. Salim gave the first clap.

Mohanlal had arrived in Sri Lanka earlier, and with Mammootty and Kunchacko Boban joining yesterday, the much-anticipated project has now taken off. The film is produced by Anto Joseph, along with Blue Tiger Movies London and C.R. Salim and as co-producers. The story and screenplay are by Mahesh Narayanan, while Rajesh Krishna and C.V. Sarath serve as executive producers.

The stellar cast includes Ranji Panicker, Rajiv Menon, Danish Husain, Shaheen Siddique, Sanal Aman, Revathi, Darshana Rajendran, and Sereen Shihab, among others. Notably, Prakash Belawadi, known for his roles in Madras Café and Pathaan, is also part of the ensemble. Renowned Bollywood cinematographer Manush Nandan handles the visuals.

In addition to spectacular locations in Sri Lanka, the film will be shot in London, Abu Dhabi, Azerbaijan, Thailand, Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Delhi, and Kochi over 150 days. The movie will be distributed by Aan Mega Media.
