About love yet again
All music videos with the theme love are somewhat similar, but then, what is love without a little cliché? Directed by Sanath Sivaraj, the new music video Nenjam has stolen the hearts of countless youngsters out there with its simplicity. It’s about two youngsters whose paths cross at a birthday celebration; later, they fall for each other.
A diehard fan of Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sanath longed to work with him someday. “The moment Vineeth got to know that I was the director of this music video, he wished me luck. This was one of the biggest reasons why I stayed optimistic throughout the production process, which I thought was impossible due to shortage of manpower,” Sanath says. This album is an answer to all those who wish to follow their dreams. It proves that if they want something with their whole heart, they ought to strive till things are in their favour.
With Nenjam, Vineeth has yet again won many hearts after the last hit Malabari penne. Despite the many limitations he faced, the team Nenjam strived to attain perfection. “The minutest of details in the video production, including the colour tone, posters and promotion, were planned ahead,” says Sanath. Most videos like these usually go unnoticed because of which Sanath assembled an advertising team to grab the attention of people. “I knew what I wanted exactly before making the video and if it turns out to be a sensation, it means that our effort as a team has not gone in vain,” he adds.
The lead actors are Basil Reji and Kavya Kalathingal. There are also many other new faces. Working as an assistant director for two movies and many other short films, Sanath Sivaraj is gradually creating an identity as a budding director. Keeping an optimistic attitude, he managed to complete the shoot of Nenjam in a week. The storyline of the video was finalised after listening to the complete song. Despite financial constraints, the team put in good effort which helped in the release of the video earlier than expected. The young director wishes to make a movie and he considers this album as a stepping stone in his journey.
