Love, Laugh and Live!

While delivering a relevant message, this musical will also make you laugh and reminisce the good old times with their performance.

Ever wondered about a fantasy land coming to life? Well, The Show for Everyone by Imbroglio productions gives you the same feeling. From quirky one-line-zingers to loaded slapsticks and knee-slapping music this somewhat broadway comedy musical has one for everyone.

With the protagonist being the main connect to the musical, Divyesh Bhandari the director of gives us a quick word. He says, “This is like any Disney musical, with famous songs from classics like The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and a lot more familiar songs. The protagonist is like a Neil Patrick Harris hosting the Tony awards, he is the main connect. There are over 13 trained singers and dancers performing in this spectacle.”

Speaking about what we can expect, he adds, “Though the songs are familiar, the lyrics are re-written with reference to current affairs and politics. We aim at giving the audience a light-hearted evening through our fun and entertaining musical. This is a family entertainment show, and our target audience is pretty much everyone as we’re performing songs from the 80s and 90s. It’s all about having a good time.”

When asked if it was okay to mess with these classic numbers to make it on par with their storyline he says, “We did have this concern initially but we decided to go ahead and mess with the lyrics because we intend to make people laugh at political references. However, the tune of the song will not be tampered with.”
Their biggest challenged was to coordinate with schedule. “We just had a month’s time to practice this group of 13 talented artistes. Each cast member did their best and practised day and night”, says Rohann George Mathew the show’s director.

Giving us a sneak peek into this extravaganza, he adds, “The show is loaded with props and new character elements. With 13 seasoned performers the experience was splendid. We are showcasing the act at Rangoli Metro Art Centre, today and tomorrow from 5:30 pm onwards.”
