Renowned singer Malavika is the latest victim of Covid-19. Her two-year-old daughter and parents have also tested positive for the Coronavirus.
“I developed mild symptoms cold and fever and I got myself tested. My doctor had said that the result might be positive, and it was confirmed when the report came,” Malavika shared.
The playback singer said her little daughter was asymptomatic. “My parents too have no symptoms,” she added.
Talking about her regimen after being diagnosed, she said “Apart from the regular medicines, I practise pranayama every day, so that is helping me to cope.”
“Ever since I started showing symptoms, I isolated myself and have home quarantined myself,” she said, adding that her entire family is also under home quarantine. Her husband has been very supportive, Malavika said.
Meanwhile, there are reports that singer Sunitha Upadrasta has also tested positive for Covid-19. However, she wasn’t available to comment when we reached out to her.
