Mirroring your dance moves: EDM festival in Hyderabad soon
The city may be well over the excitement that EDM festival Sensation was in March this year. But to keep things going for music fans, there’s another event lined up — Tomorrowland’s Unite party!
While the actual event will be happening at Brussels in Belgium from July 22 to 24, the event is live streamed around the world — seven cities this time around — and, after Mumbai last year, Hyderabad will be hosting the Unite “mirror” event this year on July 23.
“Hyderabad is now the hottest destination for live entertainment events in the country. Post Sensation, everyone had realised that if you want to do a large format well, Hyderabad is the place,” says Vijay Amritraj, one of the organisers.
The event will be a two-way stream, Vijay adds, saying that the artistes in Belgium, too, will be interacting with the crowds from around the world.
“We’re looking at getting headliners Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero and Hardwell because we haven’t gotten them to Hyderabad yet,” Vijay says.
