BLACKPINK is one of the most followed Korean pop band among others around the world. After the Bangtan Boys, this all-girl band enjoys a huge fan following.
Generally, music bands are managed by reputed agencies. While BTS is managed by HYBE, the BLACKPINK is managed by YG Entertainment.
While all the BTS members are said to hail from South Korea, the same is not the case with BLACKPINK. Although Jisoo and Jennie are sisd to be from Korea, Rose tales from from Auckland in New Zealand, while Lisa is from Thailand.
Even though all the four girls are hugely popular and have a humongous fan base on social media, Lisa is said to be one of the most popular band members in BLACKPINK. Latest reports state that the BLACKPINK members' contracts with their agency YG entertainment will expire in August.
Fans are of the opinion that a few members liek Lisa may not renew their contract for more lucrative offers from other agencies. If that happens, then YG entertainment is likely to suffer more losses than the members themselves.
There is a lot of talk around Lisa's remuneration. If reports doing the rounds are any indication, then Lisa is the least paid among the BLACKPINK members even though she enjoys huge popularity and said to be the most popular band member.
