Naga Vamsi’s Satirical Dig at Supriya Yarlagadda Sparks Buzz
Naga Vamsi also alluded to his own recent setbacks, having reportedly faced losses with films like Mass Jathara and Kingdom

Young and outspoken producer Naga Vamsi once again grabbed attention with his candid remarks—this time aimed at Supriya Yarlagadda during the pre-release event of Dacoit.
Known for his aggressive and unfiltered speeches, Naga Vamsi took a satirical swipe at Supriya, referencing her past comments in Producer Guild meetings about controlling production budgets. “Supriya garu is known for taking classes for producers on spending wisely. But Dacoit has been in production for two years with 147 working days,” he remarked, adding humorously, “Thanks to Adivi Sesh for ‘torturing’ her for two years.”
Continuing in a tongue-in-cheek tone, Vamsi suggested that Supriya would better understand the real challenges of production after working with top-tier stars. “She has mostly worked with her brother and uncle. She will know the actual difficulties once she collaborates with big stars,” he said, while still wishing success for the film and encouraging her to take on more demanding projects.
On the business front, Naga Vamsi also alluded to his own recent setbacks, having reportedly faced losses with films like Mass Jathara and Kingdom. However, he mentioned recovering some losses through association with Yash Raj Films for distributing the Telugu version of War 2.
As always, Vamsi’s remarks—blunt, humorous, and slightly controversial—have stirred conversations within the industry.
