Netflix Confirms Urvashi Rautela's Role in Daaku Maharaj Amid Rumors

Streaming Giant Dismisses Speculation After Promotional Poster Omission

Recent rumors suggested that Urvashi Rautela’s scenes had been cut from the digital version of Daaku Maharaj. However, these claims have proven false. When Nandamuri Balakrishna’s action-packed film premiered on Netflix on February 21, in multiple languages including Hindi, all of Urvashi’s scenes remained intact — including the controversial Dabidi Dibidi song, which had stirred debate over its provocative dance moves.

Speculation began when Netflix shared a promotional poster that appeared to exclude Urvashi, leading fans to question whether her role had been edited out. However, the streaming platform quickly addressed the rumors by releasing an updated poster featuring the actress, confirming that her role remained unchanged.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, Daaku Maharaj features a star-studded cast including Nandamuri Balakrishna, Urvashi Rautela, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath. The film, which was released in theaters on January 12, 2025, for Sankranti, had a mixed reception at the box office.
