Malayalam star actor Prithviraj Sukumaran's recent blockbuster Aadu Jeevitham - The Goat Life is now all set for its grand OTT release. Disney Plus Hotstar, which acquired the digital streaming rights of the film, is going to stream the survival drama from May 26.
The movie received critical acclaim from the audience and also received an extended theatrical run in Kerala. Now, the film is getting ready for its digital debut. Fans who have already watched the film in theaters are also eagerly awaiting the OTT release of the film.
An interesting aspect of the film is that the makers have announced that the OTT version will include some deleted scenes. The original runtime of the movie was 3 hours and 30 minutes, but the movie unit trimmed it down by half an hour. Now, they have included the deleted scenes in the OTT version.
From May 26, the movie will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages. Touted to be a survival drama, Amala Paul played the female lead in the movie.
KR Gokul, Jimmy Jean Louis, and Shobha Mohan played crucial roles in the film. Made with a budget of 80 crores, the film became a major commercial success by earning 160 crores worldwide.
The movie emerged as the biggest blockbuster in Malayalam and did moderately well in Telugu as well. It also became the third highest-grossing Malayalam movie of all time, after Manjummel Boys and 2018.
