Bigg Boss OTT season 3: Anil Kapoor remuneration lower than Salman Khan's?
Anil Kapoor, the veteran actor, is expected to be the host for the third edition of the “Bigg Boss OTT” instead of Salman Khan. While producers of the show are still silent on this matter, several publications have reported that he will now take up this new role.
This change in hosts also brings with it a significant difference in hosting fees. For example, while Salman Khan who was hosting earlier used to earn an impressive 12 crore rupees per episode for his two weekend episodes which totalled to 24 crores only. In contrast, Anil Kapoor is said to be charging 2 crores per episode which makes it four crore rupees a weekend. This aligns with the fee range between 2 and 2.5 crore rupees that Karan Johar received from Voot for hosting its first season ever.
“Big Boss OTT”, for those who may not understand it well enough, is a house situated far away from any other dwellings where contestants live under constant camera surveillance. They engage in different activities or challenges and nominate each other every week for eviction purposes.
