Devolina slams Bigg Boss OTT makers for promoting polygamy on show

With Bigg Boss OTT 3 being in full swing right now, the Anil Kapoor-hosted show has already created quite a controversy. The engagement of YouTube commentator Arman Malik and his wife Payal Kritika has generated major reactions on social media. Fans have criticized the trio for what they believe is selling a lifestyle that sends the wrong message.

The complaints spread to social media users, as stories about Armaan Malik’s private life are emerging, and also tarnish his public image. Amidst the growing controversy, former Bigg Boss contestant and actress Devolina Bhattacharjee has expressed her disagreement on social media. During her long post on X, she criticized the show's producers for allegedly supporting polygamy. Devoleena wrote, “Do you think this is entertainment? This is not entertainment, it’s filth. Don’t make the mistake of taking this lightly because it’s not just a reel, it’s real. I mean, I can’t even understand how anyone can call this shamelessness entertainment. I feel disgusted just hearing about it. Gross. I mean, in just 6/7 days love happened, marriage happened, and then the same thing with the wife’s best friend. This is beyond my imagination.”

Responding to the grand unveiling of Armaan, Payal and Kritika’s love story, Devlina couldn’t contain her anger now. He termed the content as "filth in the entertainment call" and slammed the Bigg Boss makers for featuring such contributors on the show.

Devoleena’s reaction comes from another thread on Twitter from Lady Khabri that read, “Shameless Trio who don’t even care about their kids and happily encourage polygamy are now in Bigg Boss OTT 3. Armaan Malik, Payal Malik, Kritika Malik . It’s pathetic to see how senseless the two ladies are, the guy is anyways shameless.”

This ongoing controversy has created some anxiety in the already impressive atmosphere of Bigg Boss OTT 3, and viewers will be eagerly watching how those powers will unfold in the upcoming episodes.
