Riteish Deshmukh's Web Series Pill Now Streaming on Jio Cinema
After releasing its latest series titled Gaanth Part 1: Jamna Paar, Jio Cinema has recently announced their newest web series known as ‘Pill’ starring Riteish Deshmukh. This July 12th, Raj Kumar Gupta, the stunning director behind some notable works like Aamir, No One Killed Jessica and Raid, will unveil a brand-new Pill on its Jio Cinema Premium.
In a short teaser video shared today, it is revealed that Pill will address the issue of fake and substandard medicines flooding into India. These counterfeit drugs end up killing many people without consequences.
The commercial shows Riteish Deshmukh holding a capsule while wearing glasses or spectacles with a moustache on his face. Deshmukh says in his voiceover how ironic that we have statistical data on deaths caused by different diseases but nothing at all about those who die from fake drugs with low quality standards.
Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, Pawan Malhotra, Anshul Chauhan and Akshat Chauhan are among the talented actors featured in Pill.
