The box office collection of the film Vettaiyan, featuring Superstar Rajnikanth has been quite a rollercoaster. With an impressive start in theaters, the film had a strong opening weekend, but then watched its audience dwindle significantly during the following days. Nonetheless, the multilingual release certainly holds on to traction within the South Indian regions and with the film due to release in its digital form on November 7 on Amazon Prime.
There was an analyst who covered the timing of its release and said, “Since the Hindi version of the film would not reach the multiplexes, there is no eight weeks theatrical time that is needed. Most Tamil movies follow four weeks of theatrical time, so November 7 as the day of the release is very possible."
Amitabh Bachchan, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Manju Warrier, Fahadh Faasil, Ritika Singh, and Rohini are part of a huge star cast contributing to the success of the film. Lyca Productions' Subaskaran is one of the producers of Vettaiyan, and Anirudh Ravichander provides the movie's soundtrack.
