After premiering first with Munjya in theatres, the much awaited Stree 2 teaser has finally hit the internet. This small glimpse of the upcoming film has already generated a lot of buzz among fans.
A Haunting Return
Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2’s teaser begins on a scary note where a legendary ghost haunting her old place causing fear everywhere around the town that used to keep her safe from harm through erecting a statue in her honour. Now however they are terrified at what she could do if she chose to retaliate but is this really her coming back or something else even scarier?
Familiar Faces and New Mysteries
The teaser brings Shraddha Kapoor’s mysterious character back along with Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) who cannot control his love feelings for her again. In one particularly intriguing scene, Shraddha swings pleated hair which still keeps fans guessing its importance.
The teaser also gives us glimpses of some other familiar faces from the first movie such as Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee who reprise their roles. The short yet impactful footage promises both horror and humor that had made it successful before.
