Taapsee Pannu turns Gandhari for Netflix
After Saand Ki Aankh, Taapsee Pannu teamed up again with Netflix for the action thriller Gandhari. Director Devashish Makhija will be helming the filmTaapsee Pannu lead.
The film Gandhari is a desperately anticipated drama and is filled with action, motive, enigma, and grit. Primarily focusing on taapsee pityhushing fierceness into a mother, who takes the task at hand, and in this case, it is personal.
The project is also a turning point for the writer, as it will be her first project with Taapsee after they worked on successful movies like Manmarziya, Haseen Dilruba, Haseen Dilruba again and the currently being released Rashmi rocket and finally Dunki. Pink was Dhillon’s first project with Netflix and she is back with another one under her own production house, Kathha Pictures.
She adored the revenge-bent emotions of a mother, after 9 long years back diving into an action flick. Dhillon was also upbeat about other things, terming Gandhari as a bloody and coarse action thriller and a good story of salvation.
This film is clearly intended to provide Combine Studios their biggest cinematic experience on the streaming platform.
