Vineeth Sreenivasan's comedy movie Varshangalkku Shesham has been a big hit this year. Starring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal the film has hit screens on April 11th alongside Fahadh Faasil's Aavesham.
The film received lots of praise from both fans and critics. Now after its successful run in theaters Varshangalkku Shesham is getting ready to debut on the streaming platform Sony LIV on June 7th. Sony LIV recently announced this on social media along with the movie trailer. Sharing it, they wrote,“A cinema about the story behind cinema’s limelight! A Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial with Pranav Mohanlal, Dhyan Sreenivasan, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aju Varghese and Nivin Pauly #VarshangalkkuShesham streaming from June 7th on Sony LIV”
The platform also mentioned that the movie will be available in Hindi too and they shared the Hindi trailer as well.
As mentioned Varshangalkku Shesham is a comedy set in the past starring Dhyan Sreenivasan and Pranav Mohanlal. Besides them the movie also features Basil Joseph, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aju Varghese, Nivin Pauly and the director Vineeth Sreenivasan in important roles.
The story revolves around two friends Venu and Murali and their journey over 50 years. They go to Madras to try their luck in the film industry. The movie shows their friendship, struggles and how they overcome obstacles. Mainly Nivin Pauly's portrayal of a spoof version of himself as Nithin Molly added an extra layer of entertainment to the film.
Varshangalkku Shesham is produced by Visakh Subramanian for Merryland Cinemas. Amrit Ramnath composed the music and Viswajith Odukkathil and Ranjan Abraham handled cinematography and editing respectively.
