Rashmika Mandanna Rises to Pan-India Stardom with Box Office Success
From Pushpa to Chhaava, Rashmika cements her position as one of the busiest actresses across industries

With her latest Hindi film Chhaava making waves at the box office, Rashmika Mandanna has solidified her status as one of India’s most sought-after actresses. “She is undoubtedly a pan-India star and has attained the numero uno status,” says producer Lagadapati Sridhar.
Known for her versatility, Rashmika seamlessly transitions between roles, portraying the quintessential wife opposite superstars like Allu Arjun (Pushpa: The Rule), Ranbir Kapoor (Animal), and now, Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava. “Earlier, directors preferred heroines to put on weight for wife roles, but Rashmika has redefined the norm,” Sridhar explains. “She effortlessly shifts from a glamorous, mini-skirt-clad lover to a graceful, saree-draped wife, making even traditional roles look stylish and captivating.”
Sridhar believes Rashmika is on track to become one of India’s busiest multilingual actresses. “She will likely be more selective about Telugu films, choosing star-studded projects while expanding her presence in Bollywood and giving leading Hindi actresses tough competition,” he says.
Having already made a mark in Tamil cinema with Varisu alongside Vijay, Rashmika is set to take on more Tamil projects. “She is not just a talented actress but also an exceptional dancer, a combination that will propel her to even greater heights. At just 28, she has already achieved stardom and continues to expand her fan base, earning the title of ‘National Crush,’” he adds.
Capitalizing on the immense popularity she gained from Pushpa: The Rise, Rashmika has strategically positioned herself in Mumbai and Chennai, securing top-tier projects across industries. “Language and regional barriers are fading, and Rashmika is making the most of this pan-India wave, racing ahead to the top,” Sridhar concludes.
