Music maestro A.R. Rahman, who delivered a stellar soundtrack for the Hindi blockbuster Chhaava, is now composing for the highly anticipated sports-centric film RC 16, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor.
"Rahman is in top form, and his entry into Tollywood comes at the perfect time," says director Hemanth Madhukar. "He is a master composer who can create magic across genres, and a sports-centric film will be no exception. We’ve heard that he has already composed a couple of Telugu songs, and his background score in RC 16 is expected to be as impactful as it was in Chhaava," he adds.

Addressing reports that Rahman is charging ₹8 crore for RC 16, he adds, "It’s nobody’s business to discuss the remuneration of a legend. Talent like his is priceless."
