Ace director Prashanth Neel seems to have made an error of judgement in the trailer of Salaar, as he has partially revealed the plot, unlike in his earlier blockbuster KGF, where he had held back the basic storyline and drew in the audience by showcasing Yash’s heroism.
“By showing the childhood friendship of Prabhas and Prithiviraj in Salaar, he has revealed that it would be the story of two childhood friends. The young Prabhas is shown as aggressive and his friend as timid and softer,” says a source. “When Prithvi is in danger, it’s obvious that he will seek the help of the fearless Prabhas in protecting his kingdom,” he adds.
“Going by the trailer, it looks like Prabhas uses his muscle power to save his friend but doesn’t have a personal stake in the battle. Does the film have more to show? We’ll have to wait and see,” the source says.
