His last two films were well-received by audiences, and he’s now all set to release his next flick, whose subject is rather intriguing. One of Sandalwood’s most consistent directors, Simple Suni’s next project Bazaar revolves around the subject of pigeon races. Starring Dhanveer and Aditi Prabhudeva, Suni’s next film promises to be drastically different from his previous movies Operation Alamelamma and Chamak. “Bazaar revolves around pigeon racing. The lead character in this movie is emotionally attached to pigeons from childhood. Being passionate about pigeon races, he trains his beloved pigeon for competitions.
During these races, he comes across some rowdy groups who don’t like the fact that he keeps on winning the races every single time. Also, he’s someone who feels that the feeling of ‘love failure’ is stronger than ‘love,’ so he wants to experience a break-up and ends up finding a girl who he feels will not fall for him. The pigeon plays a prominent role which connects the hero and heroine.”
As for the cast, the lead roles are played by Dhanveer and Aditi Prabhudeva. “They have nailed their performances. Our cast comprises both experienced and fresh faces,” reveals Suni.
Talking about the soundtrack of the film, which had a grand launch recently, Suni shares, “While writing the script, the music was one of the main essences of this movie, hence it was given more importance, compared to the film’s other aspects. Music director Ravi Basrur has exceeded all expectations and set a different milestone for himself.”
Coming back to the release of Bazaar, Suni reveals that post-production work of the film is almost done. “Our process is stuck with the animal board as we’re waiting for permissions, but irrespective of any other film, I want my flick to release on December 28. I want it to be the last release this year,” says the filmmaker, who also clarifies that his next project, which he was supposed to do with Diganth is now happening with actor Sharan.
