Kannada actor Varun Aradya accused of blackmailing girlfriend
Indian actress Varsha Kaveri has filed a complaint against her former boyfriend, social media influencer Varun Aradya, with regards to blackmail and threats and also got an FIR lodged against him. Reportedly, on Free Press Journal, Varsha filed an official complaint on 7th September 2024 at Basaveshwarnagar Police Station.
The complaint states in specific detail, Varsha’s alleged confession on how Varun threatened her with blackmail after she caught him cheating. The two had been dating since 2019 until things changed around in 2023 when Varsha reportedly stumbled upon some incriminating images of Varun with another woman. When she did so, Varsha says that Varun then used this opportunity to threaten her by stating that he would post her personal images and videos on the internet.
Varsha in addition stated that these videos were taken without her consent. This became aggravated on September 10 2023 when out of the blue Varun sent her obscene pictures of herself. Upon denial of the advance attempts, he not only berated her but took it a notch further with threats of homicide.
All these allegations have stunned a large number of people and the same has been a subject of investigation by the police and they are looking into the matter.
