SS Rajamouli urges actor Nassar to conduct workshops?

Reigning director S S Rajamouli seems to be determined to set a new path and also deliver a blockbuster with his upcoming film with superstar Mahesh Babu. “He is planning to conduct acting worships for his actors and he would give some time to his actors to be trained a bit and get into the skin of their characters,” says a source and adds, “He has specifically requested veteran actor Nassar to conduct acting workshops in Hyderabad and teach nuances of acting to fellow actors for a few weeks,” he adds.

Actually, Tamil actor Nassar is also a director and has a command over varied forms of acting. He has been friends with Rajamouli for years and few other Telugu directors and used to share his acting tips to his colleagues. “This time, he has been hired by top director Rajamouli to specially train actors in Mahesh Babu’s magnum opus since few characters would be out of the box and needs a bit of fine tuning,” he adds. He also claims that it was Nassar who reportedly suggested a unique dialect for Kalakeya’s role in ‘Baahubali’. “Actor Prabhakar played the dreaded role and his utterances in Kiliki language was one of the suggestions by Nasser to S S Rajamouli and it turned out to be a big winner,” he points out.
No doubt, Nassar is doing some key roles in Telugu films and won applause for his performance in films like ‘Pokiri’, ‘Badshah’, ‘Dhookudu’ and ‘Baahubali’ to become a sought-after actor for character roles in Tollywood.
