Stree 2 Producer Counters Naga Vamsi on Bollywood vs South

The North vs South cinema debate reignited as Dinesh Vijan, producer of Stree 2, responded to Telugu producer Naga Vamsi’s comments claiming South Indian cinema changed Bollywood's approach to filmmaking.

At the Sky Force trailer launch, Dinesh Vijan disagreed with Vamsi, stating, "Maybe we don’t talk much about ourselves, but we’ve delivered five huge films. The industry thrives on collaboration, not division. If we view it as the Indian film industry, it's 500+800=1300 crore." Akshay Kumar supported Vijan's perspective.

Vijan also highlighted the mutual admiration between industries, noting Allu Arjun’s admiration for Amitabh Bachchan, emphasizing the need for unity rather than rivalry.

Previously, Vamsi asserted that South cinema revolutionized filmmaking, citing RRR and Baahubali while critiquing Bollywood for catering to limited audiences with films targeted at Bandra and Juhu.
