Reigning actress Tamannaah is set to return with the highly anticipated supernatural thriller Odela 2, slated for release on April 17. The film serves as a sequel to the 2019 thriller Odela Railway Station.
Addressing the media, Tamannaah expressed her excitement about reprising the role of Bhairavi. "I was quite impressed with director Ashok Teja’s work in Odela Railway Station. Odela 2 has a gripping narrative. It’s not an easy genre, and telling a rural drama with such an intriguing backdrop is quite challenging. However, Ashok Teja has done a phenomenal job with the sequel. Producer D. Madhu has poured immense passion into this project," she shared.
Tamannaah also revealed an interesting aspect of the film, stating, "Odela 2 features the most number of close-up shots of my eyes in my career. It will surely offer a captivating theatrical experience."
Alongside Tamannaah, the film stars Hebah Patel and Vasishta N. Simha in key roles. Odela 2 is produced under the Madhu Creations banner in association with Sampath Nandi Creative Works, with Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music.
