It feels like a dream: Divyanka Tripathi on her marriage to Vivek Dahiya

Mumbai: Say hello to the newly married Mr and Mrs Dahiya. The big fat nuptials of Divyanka Tripathy and Vivek Dahiya took place at the Kanha Fun City in Bhopal on 8th July. Baraat came in at around 10 pm.

The bride looked radiant dressed in her favourite red lehenga for the varmala ritual while the groom wore cream and gold sherwani with maroon stole wrapped around. The pheras began at 3 am.

The bride wore a specially gifted yellow lehenga by her maternal uncle for the ritual. The marriage was solemnized by 6 am making Divyanka and Vivek man and wife. “I was so nervous today. I haven’t been this nervous my whole life. The feeling is beyond explanation. I am over the moon. I feel very lucky to be his bride. I always wanted a monsoon wedding and I am having one. The rains are making the whole experience so surreal. It feels like a dream.” said beaming bride Divyanka.

Divyanka and Vivek plan to throw a bash for their friends from the industry on July 14 in Mumbai.
