\'Saturday night live\' halts production amid coronavirus
The NBC variety series, which was scheduled to return from hiatus on March 28, will not resume production until further notice
'Saturday Night live' is the latest addition to shows to find itself affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
On Sunday, it was announced that all movie theaters and clubs in New York will soon close for the time being while social distancing guidelines put forth by the Centers for Disease Control.
The popular sketch comedy show, now into its 45th season, is the final late-night series to bow out amid the pandemic.
Previously, NBC late-night series 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' and 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' stopped production and went on hiatus.
John Krasinski was slated to host SNL on March 28 with musical guest 'Dua Lipa'.
